My knowledge of the Julia Child was limited and French cuisine is not the top of my list when it comes to world dishes. Yet, I really enjoyed the personality of the book and impessionist long food and landscape definitions of Julia Child. It's inspiring to read about an amazing lady so passionate about what she dis and take a lot of pride in it. Good read overall. Makes me want to purchase "Mastering the Art of French Cuisine" and start a new family tradition of gourmet Saturdays. !
