One of the pleasant surprises of Spring 2009 for me is the tea part trend. I love the rose prints, flowy silk dresses, classic pearls, classy hats, straw bags, and most of all flower pins and accessories. Can't wait to sport the look fo brunches over the spring and summer.
The best way to wear this trend with an edge is to layer sheer fabrics and combine them with bright accessories that represent your personality. I'm even considering using funky accessories and jean jackets with such dresses and skirts. It is one of the looks to explore with and you wouldn't know how it will suit you until you experiment with it. Try it! You won't be disappointed. I'll post some tea party looks soon!
