I like the skinny jeans a lot on you! I think the light denim jacket may be throwing the outfit off; the cropped length breaks up the long lean line of the jeans, scarf and open cardigan. I would love to see that outfit without the jean jacket; I'll bet it is KILLER.

I agree, I think it would look a lot better without the denim jacket but the skinny jeans do look great on you. Maybe you could wear a darker pair to work?
Thanks for the great comments. You guys are right about my jean-on-jean faux pas. I don't know why I haven't taken any pictures without it as I spent most of the day without the jacket. The
goal was to break the neutral outfit with another color. I wish I had a longer red jacket.
Kristin: It's not a cardigan. It is a tunic that looks like a cardigan and jackets together.
LittleMissChris: I wore black skinny jeans to work with tunic length dresses occasionally, but there's something about skinnies that tells me not-work-appropriate.
Next time, try the same pair of skinny jeans, a nice dark colored cami (maybe a little lace around the hem) and a cropped blazer. Top it off with maybe a cute scarf, and some boots. Gorgeousssss<3
