Catching up... one more from last week

I never tuck my jeans to my boots at work, not even slouchy boots. Living in SoCal and not seeing many people wear boots to work has an influence on this as well.

I had these boots for 4 years and I love the stitching details on the soft suede. However,I never wore them to work thinking it would be too much. I was at the Palomar Observatory today for work and it was 39F in the observatory and around 70F in San Diego. So I had to pick an outfit that worked for both temperatures. I actually loved having the boots tucked in under a cozy sweater dress with a top coat added, but not pictured... it was too hot by the time I got to taking the picture.

I like the extra slouchy effect of the pants on the boots, but I understand it's not up to everyone's taste. An alternative is to use sock to keep the jeans really tucked in. What do you think?

The white necklace is my hand-work from couple of years ago. Along with the rough belt, I think it makes the whole ensamble Springy for fluctuating SD temperatures.

My sn's Spring break is over and next week, I'm back to regular posts. Have a great weekend until then!
