A limunizer that works

LORAC Perfectly Lit Oil-Free Luminizing Powder is a lightweight solution to dull-looking skin.

This limunizer has been my everyday solution to looking fresh.  It's not like any other bronzer or shimmer solution. It just works on or under what you normally wear. I love that I can put it on top of my make up to give my face some light. It leaves my skin naturally radiant and helps me highlight where I want on my face with just a few brush strokes.

Do you use a limunizer in your daily routine? What's your favorite?

Family hike

Sunday hikes are a great activity to relax, have fun with the kids and get some fresh air. Today was an excellent day after the fresh rain.

San Diego is in particular a good town to enjoy hiking all year round. I like San Diego Hiking Club's website for information on the good hikes in the area. They also have programs that allow members to meet other hikers if you like to hike and would like to join their outings.

On a day like this, I like to have a worry free outfit that I can roll around on the grass and play in the dirt with my son. My jeans and boots are covered in mud in this picture, but not so obvious thanks to the sunset lighting.

The batwing sweater is a lot of fun with the risk of looking like a maternity sweater. It is warm and doesn't constrain my arms when I'm in play mood.

My scratched green riding boots is in the "only for hiking and camping" part of my closet. No more motorcycling for us after husband's accident. I love green boots in winter and had my eye on a pair of green Frye boots since the beginning of the year, but I doubt that it will take priority on my list for the year. Maybe next year...

How about you? Do you have a favorite color? I think mine is obvious given how much I talk about green on this blog.

Daily Steal: Gold Glitter Leggings

I love the color and shimmer of these leggings! For less than 70% of the original price, they can be called a steal. They would dress up denim skirts and dress down a little black or white dress... they can even be used as an evening hose under boots. Love them!

Below are more edgy and funky leggings under $25.

Museum visit on a rainy day

The peace sign watch is a gift from husband as he knows how I love the piece sign. The skinny leopard belt and the red bag just made the outfit more fun for me.

What do you think of denim leggings? I like them under tunics normally, but wore it for the first time under the dress instead of brown tights.
It was a rainy day in San Diego. One of the effects of El Nino. Taking advantage of the bad weather, we focused on indoor activities. After a brunch in Little Italy and went to see the Tara Donovan Exhibit at MCASD. This is the first time that so many of her pieces are surveryed in a museum in this form. It was on our list to see for a while and it is amazing. If you live in San Diego, it is a must see. CLICK HERE for more information.

On the weekends, I try to wear what I don't wear to work. I wore the flowy dress as a skirt with denim leggings and added a shell and cardigan for extra warmth. I had a raincoat on top outdoors.

Wear Red Day

Do you accesorize for work or wear bright colors? What's your strategy when you do it?
Another fun piece for the day for my ring watch, which I also never wear to work. I love fun accessories! Between the bright color, watch ring, statement necklace and flowery heels, I can say that I had a lot of fun today. It was Friday after all!

As a side note, I was suprised to see these ring watches online. I thought they were so '90s!

Wear Red Day by the American Heart Association one of the fundraising events that also targets to raise awareness for heart disease in women.

I never wear red to work (except for an occasional scarf or belt) so my pants definitely sparked some interest today, which I used to talk about the event and more importantly the disease.
